Digitization and e-mobility - Hänsch at the largest European police fair GPEC in Frankfurt

From the 18th until the 20th of February 2020 the gates to the GPEC General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference® opened. The GPEC is Europe's largest special trade fair for trade visitors from authorities and other areas of public security. The focus is on police equipment, security technology and services.

The focus of the trade fair was on the topics of environmental management and e-mobility that are currently in the media. For authorities in the police sector in particular, the objective is to sustainably and profitably support the reduction of CO2 emissions in the public sector in order to reconcile economic growth and resource conservation. Due to the aerodynamic design of the DBS 5000 and DBS 4000, both fuel consumption and CO² emissions can be reduced. In addition, the noise level in the vehicle interior and the power consumption are reduced. For fleet management in the police department, these factors play an important role in procurement.

Highlights at the fair included the Mercedes Benz EQC electric vehicle, the GLC F-CELL, the Mercedes Benz hydrogen vehicle, and the Audi e-tron. All emission-free vehicles were presented to the specialist audience with Hänsch products and were a real visitor magnet.

At the GPEC it was also particularly clear that the long-term focus is on individual system solutions. The ENFORCEMENT BAR from Vitronic / Hänsch was particularly popular. The fully automatic license plate reading system is integrated in the Hänsch DBS 4000 and is intended for installation on an emergency vehicle. The system records passing vehicles and reads out their license plates.

Among other things, the new rod microphone H2 was presented at the Hänsch booth. The new development impresses with improved speech quality and a higher volume control range. In the undercover area, the Sputnik SL Smoky was particularly popular. Due to the colored lens, the special vehicle can only be recognized as such when it is in use, since conspicuous reflections from the sun and ambient light are reduced.

The very good international networking of the Hänsch sales partners and the resulting orders and project inquiries was also clearly noticeable. The sales partner R-Technik from Switzerland presented a Seat Ateca Cupra civil fully equipped with Hänsch. Sales partner VIMCOM, also from Switzerland, presented antenna concepts for the police area at the Hänsch booth.

The fair was a complete success for Hänsch. Due to the international growth strategy, Hänsch is also well known throughout Europe and the brand will become more established in the future.
