FIREmobil 2023 - Trade fair review

A successful premiere and exciting perspectives: Hänsch exhibited at the first FIREmobil, the new trade show for users and procurers in civil protection, in Welzow near Cottbus in Brandenburg, Germany from 14 to 16 September 2023. Using our Hänsch show trailer and an infomobile, we had the opportunity to demonstrate the performance of our new MOWACOM mobile warning and communication system, among other things.

Catastrophic floods, heat waves, forest and vegetation fires, extreme weather events and pandemics, terrorist attacks and other threats, including industrial disasters and military conflicts: In times of climate change and other crises and conflicts, the authorities and security organisations, both nationally and internationally, are facing ever new and ever greater challenges. FIREmobil aims to provide answers to these challenges to an international trade audience, with a clear unique selling proposition: The Welzow commercial airfield in the east of the republic provides sufficient space to demonstrate effectively novelty vehicles and highly specialized equipment. The MOWACOM System is a highlight.

The first day of the trade show was the ideal prelude for our product presentation, as it was the morning of the federal and state civil alert day. While smartphones were sounding the alarm on the exhibition grounds at 11 a.m. on Thursday, 14.09.2023, the numerous representatives of relevant authorities, ministries and associations experienced an exclusive and media-effective MOWACOM demonstration at our Hänsch stand, with the volume turned way down. Karl-Heinz Banse, the President of the German Fire Brigades Association, was just as impressed by our system as his companions.
