40 years of Hänsch: Celebration week ends with record attendance
Several thousand visitors at the open day
Rare insights into a world that inspires young and old technology fans: several thousand visitors took the opportunity at the end of September to visit the open day that we organized to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We did not expect this unexpectedly strong response and the lively interest in Hänsch as a high-tech company.
At Hänsch, everything focuses on optimising the visibility of emergency and special vehicles in road traffic worldwide. For already 40 years, we have been developing and producing our innovative warning systems in the heart of Emsland - usually behind well-closed doors at the end of Schützenstraße in Herzlake.
On Sunday, 29 September 2024, things were exceptionally different to mark the company's anniversary: our doors were literally open. Curious glances were expressly encouraged: visitors had the opportunity to explore development, production and sales on their own, while a large vehicle exhibition, activities for children and much more invited them to spend some time.
Whether it was ‘Fireman Sam’, the SV Meppen players or the fire brigades from the Emsland district: there was plenty to discover. In good weather, the crowds flocked to the company premises and at the end of the festival week, a record number of visitors were recorded: more than 7,000 people visited our in-house exhibition and open day in the days leading up to the event
‘We were overwhelmed by the response and impressed by the keen interest in our company. „We also received a lot of positive feedback,’ said the Hänsch management team unanimously.
The day was made possible not only by the commitment of the workforce, but also thanks to the participation of several fire brigades from Emsland and the neighbouring companies Boll Logistik and HFS Group, which also opened their premises and provided parking space.
