New ‘Per4mance’ for Italy

Italian authorities certify 724 and 744 tone sequence systems

In the past few days, representatives of the Italian transport authorities from Brescia and Milan audited the Hänsch headquarters in Herzlake. They were accompanied by two experts from the automotive testing and engineering center FAKT S.r.l. from Rezzato (BS). The reason for their visit was the initial certification of our cutting-edge tone sequence systems for the use of (acoustic) Italian special signals in Italy. The important goal for Hänsch of being certified as a German manufacturer in Italy was thus achieved.

The initial certification focused on the TFA 724 tone sequence system for use in police vehicles and the TFA 744 (12 V/24V; CAN/CiA447) for installation in ambulance, rescue and fire service vehicles. This means that in future Italian emergency vehicles can also be equipped with our new TFA ‘Per4mance’.

Numerous emergency vehicles in Italy have already been equipped with the TFA 620 in the past. We are delighted with the latest certification for our ‘Per4mance’ solutions and would like to thank FAKT S.r.l. for their goal-orientated support throughout the process and are delighted with the positive outcome of the audit.
